Aashna has garnered over 3 years of experience (2000+ hours) working with adult and adolescent population relating to mental disorders like anxiety, depression, self-esteem, interpersonal relationships, stress burnout, trauma, adhd, emotional regulation and self-development. Prior to starting Inner Circle, she worked with mental health organisations such as Untangle where she provided individual counselling to individuals with varied mental health concerns and at Kaha Mind where she worked with high-risk adults that needed immediate and urgent intervention, through which she is experienced in providing crisis management and safety planning.
Aashna is committed to ensure that her practice is affirmative to the clients’ sociocultural context and also respects their rights. She believes in creating a safe and inclusive space for individuals to explore their mental health. She strives on bringing warmth, authenticity and safety through her sessions. Her goal is to empower clients to tap into and restore their internal strengths, resources and values by building a strong therapeutic relationship with them.
In 2023, Aashna created and started Inner Circle in order to create a platform that first and foremost uses therapeutic alliance and genuine connections to bring about transformational change. She strives to make Inner Circle a trusted mental health organisation by creating meaningful experiences between clients and therapists, recognizing that a strong alliance is essential for positive outcomes, where clients are able to meet their therapeutic goals.
